So as per usual, fashion trends and styles are always in rotation. For a while now, the 90s has made its comeback. From chokers to thigh highs, mom jeans to oversized coats and of course the power of layering. As you already know from my previous post, I LOVE LAYERING.
I literally am the layering queen. Not only is it amazing for warmth on a frigid winters day, it can create versatility within one outfit. It's all strategic and if you do it right, you end up with more than one look with one outfit. It's as if you're peeling off different layers and discovering a new outfit every time!
I've channeled a very 90s vibe with the outfit choice, can you tell? Tanks over tops scream 90s in full effect and mixing different textures and fabrics is a plus! I paired a pretty basic graphic top (how ironic since it says "I'm allergic to basic") with a beautiful lavender slip-like tank. The colors work beautifully and cohesively without overpowering each other.
For the bottom half I decided to bring out some 90s grunge with a studded leather miniskirt, paired with black tights and black suede ankle boots.
I chose to keep the accessories to a minimum with a black beret and my favorite oversized camo jacket ! The best part about oversized coats are endless amount of layers you can hide underneath it!
Keep calm and LAYER on!!
